Mountain Commons is located on John Stewart Drive, directly adjacent to Jefferson
House in Newington, Connecticut. This location provides easy access to shopping, medical
offices, and other amenities offered in downtown Newington. Each resident enjoys the
privacy of his/her own studio, one-or two bedroom apartment with all the benefits of a
full-service community.
The community offers seniors and their families a choice of programs
tailored to suit the individual's needs. The independent living program is planned with
the active senior in mind. Cedar Mountain Commons offers a service-rich environment which
allows residents the freedom to do the things they enjoy most without all the worry of
upkeep, security or unexpected financial burdens of residing in their own home. Cedar
Mountain Commons also offers residents and their families peace of mind in knowing that
assisted living is available within the community should the need arise. The assisted
living program is designed to promote the independence and dignity of seniors by providing
assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, ambulating, and
medication reminders, in a residential setting.

hidden costs. A monthly fee covers the rental of an apartment, the
cost of utilities (except telephone and cable television), use of
community areas, and a comprehensive service package. Additional
services are available for a fee. |
